Brushy Creek

Just north of Austin is a wonderful nature spot called Brushy Creek. It’s a beautiful park and lake with 6.75 miles of trails (view the trail map here) in the middle of Cedar Park. Brian and I covered several miles, starting at the main fishing dock of Brushy Creek Lake.

After admiring the lake, we continued through the fields and long the trail. The recent rain made the green grass almost florescent! It was beautiful.

Finally, we stumbled upon an old wooden bridge. I was so happy to see something so charming was still in use.

Have you been to Brushy Creek? What’s your favorite part of the trail?
