I first visited Regal Ravioli when I was exploring Austin using the Austin Passbook. The booklet costs $20 ($15 if you buy it early!). If you want to learn more, or purchase your own, visit their website. Be sure to follow them on social media too: @austinpassbook. The next passbook starts on May 1st, 2016. I’m definitely going to buy it again this year.
The deal was buy one petite ravioli dish, get one free. You and your friend have to order the same type of ravioli (they split a large portion in half) but you can choose whatever sauce you’d like. The petite ravioli dish costs $7 and comes with a slice of garlic bread. At first, I was a little annoyed that they just took a large order and split it. Didn’t seem like much of a deal to me. But, they assured us the order they split is larger than the normal order. When we received our food, I have to say, I was very satisfied. For $7, Brian and I ate our fill of ravioli. It was definitely enough food for us and didn’t leave us wanting. We also added a caesar salad to share (you should too, their salad is shockingly delicious!).
I just recently went back to Regal Ravioli with my family. I tried the sweet potato gnocchi and it was DELICIOUS. I even took cold leftovers to work and it was still wonderful. My whole family was pretty impressed with the truck. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorites!
