Last week, I went on an epic road trip to west Texas with 50 seventh graders. We explored Fort Davis, Marfa, and the McDonald Observatory. It was quite the experience – breathtakingly beautiful.
Sure, it took 8 hours on a school bus to get there… and the power at our camp went out… and we didn’t shower for three days… but we all survived and arrived back a school happy, smiling, and flat out exhausted.
