Austin Eats Round-Up

I often photograph my food, but sometimes I don’t have enough photos or content to make individual posts. So here’s the round-up of my latest Austin eats. In the last month or so, I’ve been to a couple of particularly cool places. Links to all the locations mentioned are at the end of the post.

Obviously, the Blue Bonnet Cafe in Marble Falls is a favorite. I ate myself sick on breakfast food and, of course, their pie is delicious!

Since Lake Travis is now at 120% full (!!), we clearly had to visit the Oasis. Good food, GREAT views.

With Ryan in town, we had to find a good ramen place. Ramen Tatsu-Ya is the absolute best. I seriously spent the next week trying to figure out when I could go back – the cravings were that bad! Next door is a little boba tea cafe, Coco’s Cafe. Their boba was delicious and they even accommodated my ‘light sugar’ request.

Finally, while killing time between school and my teaching certification class, I stopped for dinner at Central Market. Along with my usual sushi, I decided to get a matcha latte. It was shockingly delicious and not sweet. I’m not a fan of sweet, sugary drinks. This matcha latte was flavorful, but not overly sweet. Perfect, if you ask me.
