Brushy Creek Regional Trail (East)

Taking the Brushy Creek trail east is a great way to get some miles in. Start at the main park, by the lake, then follow the trail east. It’s an out and back trail and there’s a pretty large climb over the dam to get back to where you started, but most of the trail is smooth sailing. We rode the trail all the way to it’s end near Sam Bass road. There’s a little “Trail End” sign that gives you a nice sense of accomplishment when you get to it. It’s much quieter this direction, as opposed to riding west towards the YMCA. When we went out, it had just finished raining so Brushy Creek was full! It made for some great photos.
