Denver Botanical Gardens

If you have a few free hours in Denver, I recommend you walk around the Denver Botanic Gardens.

Spanning 24 acres, it is an incredible sight. You enter through a huge atrium. It feels very prehistoric and futuristic at the same time. I wasn’t sure if I was in Jurassic Park or some distant utopian landscape.

Both Brian and I were super impressed by the garden’s collection of bonsai trees! They were pretty awesome to look at. I was especially excited to look at the bonsai because my favorite podcast, Stuff You Should Know, had just done an episode called, “How Bonsai Works.”

We wandered the remaining acres in quiet amazement.
