Garden of the Gods

Brian and I had always had plans to visit the Garden of the Gods. I didn’t know what it was, but was up for anything. I wasn’t really invested in it, but it sounded cool, so I figured I’d go. After a long, hot day walking around downtown and the botanical gardens, I was so tired. I was super tempted to just say, “Let’s get dinner and then go back to the hotel. Let’s relax tonight.”

After much debate, we managed to muster up some energy and make our way out to Garden of the Gods. I could not believe the sights. Garden of the Gods was by far the biggest surprise of the trip – it was simply incredible. It’s scary to think that we almost missed this!

We hiked around the main paved path first, then we drove over to the Siamese Twins trail and balanced rock.
