The 365 by Whole Foods has finally opened in Cedar Park! It’s a part of a brand new shopping center called The Parke, which is right around the corner from our house.
The inside is very industrial. It has everything I’d need, but it’s smaller than I expected. There are plenty of bulk food options, along with all your basic food groups.
As you walk in, there’s a Juiceland to your right. Juiceland! Around the corner from my house! I am so pumped about this.
Another highlight for me was the self serve Mochi! Mochi is a delicious little dessert made of ice cream inside of a sticky rice covering. I used to get mochi in the freezer aisle at Trader Joes back in California. 365 has 8 different flavors – my favorite being green tea.
Perhaps the best part of this store, for me, is their extensive offering of prepared foods. When Brian is working a 24 hour shift, I’m on my own for food. 365 definitely will make cooking for one WAY easier. They have a salad bar, pizza by the slice, a hot foods bar, a Taqueria (where you can order fresh made tacos, burritos, bowls, and whole pizzas), and  then they have their regular prepackaged refrigerated food, like Snap Kitchen, sushi, sandwiches, pastas, you name it! Don’t even get me started on the desserts… For me, it’s less of a grocery store and more of a “what do I want to eat right now” kind of place.
We ended our shopping trip at Easy Tiger. Yes, there’s an Easy Tiger INSIDE the 365. Pretty amazing. We ordered pretzels, their beer cheese sauce, and some beers. They have a happy hour special where local taps are only $3.
This whole thing makes me very excited for what’s to come in Cedar Park!
