Hume Lake

I was probably the only kids growing up in Bakersfield that didn’t go to some kind of summer camp at Hume Lake, so I felt a sort of vindication when we arrived. While the summer season hasn’t quite started up there yet, the lake was still beautiful and much calmer and quieter than it will be in just a few weeks.

We saw the dam letting out water, which was pretty cool. And had fun with panoramas:
