Mueller gets cooler and cooler every day! Stella Public House serves mostly pizza and salads, but they are anything but your typical, greasy pizzeria. They’ve branded themselves as “farm to pizza” and are centered around farm to table food practices and development of strong partnerships with local growers, ranchers and purveyors. Right as you walk in, you see a cute sign labeled “Our Farms.” Nothing against pizzerias, but if you’re looking for a more upscale dinning experience (in aesthetic, not price) Stella Public House is your place. The interior is bright, airy, and welcoming. It has a modern farmhouse feel. I love the huge wooden tables, metal lights, and plants that hang on the walls.
My family and I ordered a family style salad to share and a pizza. According to their website, “the star of STELLA‘s menu is Texas-sourced artisan wood-fired pizza baked in an Italian Modena oven using oak and pecan wood. Shared plates, house-made cheeses, fresh salads and comfort foods made with locally-sourced ingredients are also found on the seasonal menu.”
I keep coming back to Mueller and love it every time! Other Mueller highlights include Bao’d Up, Halcyon, Lick Honest Ice Creams, … If you haven’t been out to the development – what are you waiting for? Overwhelmed by choices? Stella Public House is a good place to start.
