TrailersPlus and the Ultimate Tailgate Experience

Football season has begun! That means, even though it’s still 100+ degrees out there, fans will be hanging out outside on Saturdays and Sundays. Last weekend, TrailersPlus put together the “Ultimate Tailgate Experience” for a group of bloggers at Tillery Place, complete with eating, drinking, and watching the game.

Gold Epicure put together an awesome grilled spread of hamburgers and chicken. The smoked chicken was pulled off the bone and used for tacos – delicious! It was pretty fun to watch them cook right in front of us. Gold Epicure is a boutique catering company that specializes in gourmet farm-to-table foods. They run a full-service company, so they’ll handle everything from table set up to clean up.

Drink Slingers ran a really fun cocktail master class. We made Texas Highballs with Tito’s Vodka and whiskey sours with Still Austin‘s new bourbon. The hands-on experience was really enjoyable and both drinks came out wonderfully, so good job Drink Slingers!

Finally, after eating and drinking, you could watch the game on several of the TVs they had set up. Of course, there were plenty of lawn games as well!

Since the tailgate was sponsored by TrailersPlus, we took some time to learn about their state-of-the-art concessions trailers. If you were setting up the ultimate tailgate, you’d have a TrailersPlus concessions trailer. These things are the ideal food vendor truck. Features include radial tires, AC, under glow lights, full awning to block the sun, floodlights, stabilizer jacks (including a reliable electric jack), single-piece leak-proof roofing… and so much more! Concessions trailers can be custom built by TrailersPlus to fit any and all of your ultimate tailgate needs.

Thanks for a fun afternoon, TrailersPlus!
