Beck’s Prime

If you’re looking for a solid place for dinner – one that can accommodate a large group, has space for families with kids, ample parking, is located up north, and has a great menu – I suggest Beck’s Prime.

Thanks, Beck’s Prime for inviting the Austin Food Bloggers Alliance out to try your delicious burgers! We had a wonderful time.

Beck’s Prime has a massive space just off the 45 tollway in Pflugerville. They’re actually connected to Living Spaces (the perfect way to shop and eat!). While I love visiting downtown Austin or the small streets of the east side, sometimes I get tired of the constant parking battle. There’s no lack of parking spaces here! Inside, they have a huge, two-story seating area, complete with large, comfortable patio and private dining room. Their private dining room is FREE to use – just call and reserve it. How amazing is that?

Appetizers at Beck’s Prime go far beyond the typical. They serve up some delicious parmesan truffle fries, guacamole, wood-fired queso, fried pickles, HUGE onion rings, and more! My personal favorite was the fried pickles. I usually prefer spears to chips, but these were fried just right. They also have some delicious shakes on their dessert menu. Of course, they sell regular shakes, but they also sell BOOZY shakes. I tried their chocolate boozy shake and YUM! I was chugging it down, but then I remembered it had alcohol in it and had to chill out.

Beck’s Prime menu is pretty extensive. They have hamburgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, salads, “Prime Time” steak dinners, and other plated goodies, like fajitas and loaded baked potatoes. They also have a wonderful kids meal. Guaranteed you’ll find something you’ll like.

Beck’s Prime burgers are NEVER frozen, 100% certified Angus beef chuck roast. They grill each burger (when it’s ordered) over a 1000° mesquite coal fire. I also really liked their fresh-baked egg buns.

I ordered their Bubba Burger. It came with grated cheddar, Prime Sauce (a ketchup/mayo type mixture), onion, and tomato. It was so juicy and tender. The patty like, melted in my mouth. Absolutely delicious! Pictured in the background is my chocolate boozy shake.
