The Pitch is an outdoor food and entertainment complex in Northeast Austin off Parmer Ln. A series of shipping containers connected by outdoor tables and chairs creates a fun, chill space. There are several food trucks, two bars, coffee, tons of seating, pickleball courts, beach volleyball, and more!
Food | There are four food trucks on the property: Ranger Burger, Smoke Show, Ga Roti, and Taco Flats. What’s cool is they’re all connected on one ordering app, so you just scan one QR code and pick and choose whatever you want from the four trucks! I had a single-patty ranger burger and it was delicious! Don’t forget the fries, they were tasty as well.
There are also two bars – Corner Kick and Sand Bar. I just went with a basic beer, but the menu at Sand Bar looks awesome! It’s got beach vibes with frozen daiquiris and Pina coladas.
The Pitch opens at 11am, and if you’re there to play some pickle ball or beach volleyball, a beer might not be the fuel you’re looking for. Luckily, there’s Coffee Club! They serve up espresso and pastries all day.
Fun | The Pitch has Pickleball courts that can be reserved and a beach volleyball court. If you’re not quite the sporty type, they also have trivia nights! If you’d prefer to watch your sports, The Pitch becomes a popular spot to watch Austin FC on the big screens around the complex. Parmer Field is located right next door and it’s where the Austin FC practices and the Austin FC Academy teams play.
Parking | Since The Pitch is located near Tech Ridge off Parmer, there’s plenty of parking in the lots of surrounding technology businesses. This is a great spot to meet with large groups of people!
Have you been to The Pitch? I’m curious to see it when there’s a big soccer game going on! It would be a pretty nice spot to sit and watch.
