A South Congress Avenue staple, June’s offers breakfast, brunch, and grab-and-go pastries & coffee by morning, with an all-day bistro menu late into the evenings. We recently went for my birthday dinner and it was absolutely delicious.
The menu is really tasty, but a bit on the pricey side. We got the Salami & Idiazabal Cheese snack for $14 and it was so tasty! Other snacks and little plates are in the $14-20 range. Entrees are about $20-$50. I got the Bone Marrow Bolognese for $32 and it was SO delicious. For a birthday meal? Totally worth it. Brian ordered the $24 burger and fries. Also delicious and the shoe string fries were my favorite.

For drinks, we both tried the Whiskey Cocktail ($16, typical price for Austin cocktails these days). They also have an extensive wine menu, so be sure to snag a glass (or a full bottle! Monday-Friday 3-5 PM, bottles are 25% off).
Since my birthday overlapped with June’s All Day’s 7th anniversary, I was able to get their special ice cream sundae for dessert. Their other desserts sound delicious as well – Panna Cotta, Pistachio and Strawberry Crostata, and Chocolate Tart – YUM.

I can’t wait to go back for breakfast. It’s just such a cute little spot. I love the black and white tile floor, the beautiful tile work on the bar, and the big windows (perfect for a bright, airy feel and great people watching on SoCo). If you’re someone who likes cute, “aesthetic” spots, you’ll love June’s.
