Night Owl opens new location in Leander, Texas.

Attention, Leander! I’ve got something you’re gonna LOVE.

Night Owl is an adorable cocktail lounge situated inside a small house in Old Town Leander (203 N. Brushy St., Leander, TX 78641). The wood panes, velvet chairs, and counter desk lamps all come together to give a nice homey vibe.

I’ve only been once so far, but the old fashioned I had was delicious. I’m pretty picky about my cocktails (because Brian is an incredible bartender at home), but I loved my drink at Night Owl. They’re evening offering a new barrel aged old fashioned with Bob Dylan’s whiskey, called a “Heaven’s Cloud Old Fashioned.” I can’t wait to try it!

I’m personally a big fan of owls, so the murals by Sara J. Blakenship really speak to me.

Just off the porch is a large outdoor space with lightly covered picnic tables, a HUGE TV, and “Nice to Meat You” BBQ truck. It’s a perfect spot for kids and dogs to run around!

I went to their soft opening and everyone I met was super kind. I’m so excited for them and I’m excited for LEANDER to have such a cool new spot to hang at. They’re now fully open, every day 12pm-12am (1am on Saturdays). There’s lots of street parking and spots across W. Broade St. It was PACKED when I went, and there were still two spots over on W. Broade.
