Lights in Lakeway

Last night, I drove to my parents house in Lakeway, TX. Before walking the Lakeway Trail of Lights we went to one of our favorite restaurants, Thai Spice Austin, to hit up theory incredible sushi happy hour. They have several rolls for $5 or $6 dollars. We got all this delicious sushi for $23. Unheard of, if you ask me.

Then we walked from my parents house to the Lakeway Trail of Lights. It’s a great, free display behind the rec hall. There is a circular path that you follow, which takes you though a light tunnel, past two Christmas trees, and past several light displays, including a carousel and the 12 Days of Christmas. It’s become a tradition for my family – we’ve visited it each of the three Christmases we’ve been here.
